World Series Field Is Set... Previews Late Tomorrow Night

Well, Keystone, PA took care of business after the 22 hour rain delay and no Hiro Mizutani on the mound. The best team won the Mid-Atlantic though. There should be no complaints.

The World Series is shaping up to be a fantastic affair. With fan favorites in Pennsylvania and Warner Robins, GA plus a dominant pitching staff from California. The crowds should be huge. I planned on being in Williamsport for the first three days but I lost my hotel room. Anyone with a room for a blogger?! :-)

In-depth previews are coming by Late Tuesday night. I'm actually in central Pennsylvania now. I had to take my girlfriend to Maroon 5 at Hershey Park tonight. Back to Little League by Tuesday though. I promise.

Remember to tell all your baseball friends and family about the blog. Let's take a
Roll Call of folks going to Willy either this weekend or next. It should be a great time no matter what.

its not always the best team that goes to williamsport. there's also luck and a lot of other factors. unless they play many many games, you don't know who is the best. it is just your opinion and not fact. and this is not a complain, rather this is a correction. you also need to correct the statement about paramus having the option to play on saturday. more reliable source than yours is saying that it's incorrect.

Exactly. It's luck and other factors. Paramus squeezed every ounce of that out of their summer.

Everything is opinion. Keystone went 6-0 in Bristol though. Paramus went 3-3 and 0-2 against Keystone. It's not that hard.

Not to mention that many people who watch Little League and baseball as a passion (not just myself) thought Paramus was not the best team in their section tournament or state tournament. It was luck and other factors. Mainly, an unbeaten pitcher.

Wat time should this preview be out

i dont know why, but i couldn't post it, so let me try again.

6-0 and 3-3 don't mean much. if its 60-0 and 30-30, its obvious. then it becomes a fact.

keystone is a great team, but couldn't hit hiro who is part of paramus team who may be a better team overall including hiro. don't get me wrong, i think keystone is a great team and i wish them best of luck in williamsport.

they did hit hiro though, at least one did. the center fielder saved a run while keystone's center field saved two or more runs. such a classic match up.

talon couldn't hit hiro. leadoff faced him twice but couldn't figure out. they will face even better pitchers in williamsport, so they gotta be ready.

just getting back to my point, i agree that an opinion is just an opinion. so don't make it sound like a fact, and separate it from a fact. this is a great blog and i enjoy and support it, but can be even better.

Thank you for the support. I tend to disagree with you, but if you're a Paramus supporter, you know my thoughts about the team aren't going to change since I first saw them in July.

I don't think that I need a disclaimer saying this is opinion because it's a blog. That's sort of the point.

Thank you for reading though.

i was a paramus supporter but if paramus played keyston 300 times, with scheduling that aces pitch every third game. Paramus would win 100 games(Hiros starts) and lose 200(all other starters). thats the way those 2 teams matchup.
As for keystone, I am rooting for them in Williamsport, but they will likely go 0-2, maybe if their lucky they beat Rhode Island behind their massive hometown crowd.

Good, I take that disclaimer and move on. Good luck Keystone. Be ready to face better pitcher than Hiro.

llnjone, baseball is not a math. It's more difficult and more fun. U'll learn that thruout llws and this blog. So, enjoy!

Not unlike other teams, unless a team has more than one ace, and Paramus only had one, it's anybody's game on any given day. Most LL teams have one if lucky, and that's it. Pitch count rules the wins in Little league. Good 12u players can hit and LOVE the fastball right down goes right out.
